Ground

Providing you arrive ten minutes before kick off, you are likely to be greeted by the club President, also known as 'the gateman' such is  non League football at this level. After an hour of greeting folk he then heads to the stand to add another chapter to his match reports, which now span eleven seasons.

In the early weeks of the season, you can be sitting in the stand enjoying end to end football, as other folk in the distance sit in traffic jams on the M5. 

No need to book tickets or pay an extra charge for doing so, have free car parking, modest charges for refreshments and pay just £6 admission (Concessions for OAPs and Juniors). You may be surprised by the football too - see you soon!  

DIRECTIONS

 

From Jct 17 M5 follow A4018 towards Bristol. At third roundabout turn right into Crow Lane. Proceeed to T junction - turn right and right again at mini roundabout by Henbury Lodge Hotel. At next mini roundabout turn left into Avonmouth Way. Continue for 1.5 miles into Hallen village. At crossroads turn left into Moorhouse Lane.

Photos below show the old dressing rooms and clubhouse that had been in use from the late 70s until 1994, when the Hallen Centre was built on adjacent land behind one goal,

which also allowed two more pitches to be added to the site. The club by this time had already been promoted to the Hellenic First Division, and a 200 seat stand and floodlights were soon added. 

 

The club has continued to improve the ground and new turnstiles and a floodlight upgrade has enabled it to be considered ready for Southern League football.
